New York, Part 3: Decor

I'd gotten off the train and was walking downtown to Union Square. Happened upon ABC Carpet and Home. I honestly cried. It was only a bit, but ohg!

I liked the art nouveau doors and gold-inlay bowls best. The chandeliers and all the reflective surfaces were wonderfully overwhelming.

ABC Carpet and Home is a really embarrassing name, but it has one of the most eccentrically beautiful interiors I've seen. Too many vendors, too overpriced and overvalued, too many chandeliers, too much electricity consumed - it was all so good.
